StationRipper is a web based program used for recording and downloading online music. It enables the user to record internet radio stations and broadcasts.
In addition it has a separate StationPortal. The StationPortal is presented inside the software as a web page. This acts as a social site around various internet radio stations, which allows the users to vote for such stations. It’s primarily used for searching songs and bands by station, which allows the user to view which radio station is currently playing - both in a static page and a Google Maps Mash up.
The StationRipper has been integrated to include iTunes. The interface is built-in and the songs can be recorded by placing them in an iTunes play list. It can be synchronized to an iPod. The software has been integrated with numerous sites like MediaMonkey, MSN Messenger and Twitter. This wonderful commercial software is available in free version as well as in paid version. The Microsoft Explorer is embedded in the software main window. It has an interactive library which uses Microsoft Access format.
